Prism (L01011)

In optics, a prism is a transparent piece of glass or other material that has been cut into precise angles and plane sides. It is used to analyze and reflect light. An ordinary triangular prism may divide white light into its spectrum of individual colors. Use a prism to demonstrate the electromagnetic spectrum’s scientific principles. The visible colors of the electromagnetic spectrum make up white light, which a prism can bend to show the various wavelengths that the colors of the spectrum display.
